5.2.1 Removing the CPU Fans

1. Remove the chassis top cover and the processor air duct that covers the fans. For

instructions, see Section 3.2.1 and Section 3.2.5.

2. Unplug the CPU fan power cables from the front panel board. (Figure 86, “A”)

3. Lift the fans out of the chassis. (“B”)
